Why Aim for Financial Freedom?

Tony Robbins said 'Success is doing what you want, when you want, where you want, with whom you want, as much as you want'.
To my mind this epitomises financial freedom, or at least financial freedom allows one to achieve success, as defined above.
We are all human, with human needs..... and desires. The reality for most is that we are so busy working, commuting, struggling to even just survive that we do not have the opportunity to really live to our full potential.... to enjoy our lives.
If we had as much money as we needed to live, we would not automatically have great lives or be our best selves, but at least we would have the time and opportunity to work on ourselves and our lives and improve them.
We would have more time with our children, our family and friends. More time for ourselves, to read to nurture our minds, to exercise or do yoga, to improve our health and well-being, to meditate to enhance our spirit and our connection to others and the world. We would have more time to do whatever we chose, or to just 'be'.
The reality is that being able to earn a living without the long hours and toil would give us real freedom.
If financial freedom is achieved, some may choose to carry on their current lifestyle with improvements without financial pressure, others may choose to buy bigger homes, vehicles and travel the world. Each person is FREE to choose. Having the choice is freedom in itself.
We all deserve, as human beings, to live a life that is free from stress, money worries and excessive toil and to have free time, energy and mental clarity to enjoy our lives.
I have been happily working in healthcare for the last 15 years, having completed my degree. However, now that I am a single parent, I feel the need to change my life, to initially replace my regular income and eventually be financially free, so that I can provide for my child, as well as spend more time with him. I would love to remove the four hour, round trip between London and Surrey, three long days a week and have time to do what I want.
My aim in life in to help you improve your life for the better, as well as my own. I have already started my journey and I will endeavour to share with you all that I have been through and my current experiences, as I progress, so that together we can achieve the lives of freedom we desire.
As Tony Robbins said 'At any moment, the decision you make can change the course of your life forever'. Let's make a decision today, to become financially free and change our lives forever.

Wishing you love, happiness, peace and success,

Shaleza xx

Success: How Big or Small to Be Called a Success?

Success is an achievement of a goal, small or large. It doesn't have to be big or extraordinary that the whole world have to know as a breaking news on TV! But it still can be an achievement that will make one proud.

In general, I am assuming, most of us are procrastinators. We like to put off our tasks and activities on hold due to laziness or whatever reason! These actions lead to incomplete work and activities! As a result, our work keeps on piling up, and our motivation and desire dwindles further!
So you see where am I going with this issue? Does it sound familiar? For example, we all have dealt with an untidy, cluttered Desk, Whether it be at home or the office. We keep telling ourselves that it needs cleaning. But we don't do it! The reason, We don't have a motivation to clean it though our desire to do so is intense. The inertia have settled in our mind looking at the piles of incomplete tasks!
Here what we need is a push or a strong desire to start the job and in no time the desk will be clean and tidy, and we will feel great!
Now, what did we achieve by completing this simple task? A huge success! Tremendous satisfaction and a sense of relief.
The desk is looking great after the cleaning. It was an easy task, but the procrastination held us back from cleaning it. Here this inertia was hindering the success. If we can garner this of passion in our life and take up the challenge, don't our desk and our life could become uncluttered for good!
So, a small achievement of success can make us so happy and satisfied, why can't we build on this habit and make it a permanent habit or a second nature of ours. But what takes is a self-discipline, passion, the self-motivation to appreciate these small successes. The rewards are unbelievable.
Anybody, whether it be a child, men or women, the positive attitude leading to achievements and successes will change their life for good. If we put our mind to any task, small or big like cleaning a child's toy room, or completing homework, cleaning a garage, mowing the yard or cleaning a pantry. These tasks aren't difficult or hard but tedious and uninteresting. But passion, developing a habit to complete these tasks with enthusiasm and appreciating small successes will give a sense of achievements.
If we become passionate about all our jobs or activities, small or large, stay motivated, learn the discipline to complete them promptly and learn lifelong work ethics, the rewards will be unbelievable!! Our children can learn at a young age the same characters and qualities by our actions alone. Doesn't this make you happy and proud of your extraordinary achievements and reward filled successes, small but significant!

These successes may sound small to one who enjoys great successes in life. But most of us, who complete small tasks and achieving small successes, these lessons are priceless. They help break the mold of inertia. Achieving small successes will generate confidence and courage to take up big challenges in life.
So the lesson we learn here is to win over procrastination, create a passion and the motivation for any task or chores. Learn the habit to complete the task at hand with enthusiasm. The rewards will be satisfying and successes will be exhilarating.
"Sweet Success is contagious and addictive, but this addiction is worth having it!!"
Don't you all are with me on this? I believed so!
Respectfully,
Deepak Mehta
All of us enjoy a success in all our endeavors, but I believe that the achievement does not have to be enormous. Even gaining victory over a bad habit of procrastination is a big deal. Because, the practice of putting off any task, big or small for no particular reason but sheer laziness that robs many of us achieving tremendous successes in our future endeavors. So it is a huge deal to gain victory over it.

How To Be Motivated - Get Up and Get Going!

How to be motivated. No Kidding!!! If you are like me, then know and starting and maintaining your plan of life has been a tough go. Struggling through life with no idea what you wanted or, if you did, how to sustain that momentum to always be moving towards your dreams. Motivation and inspiration are tough things to keep focused on, especially when those tough days come along or disappointment shows its ugly face.
Today I want to talk about moving forward and reaching whatever it is you desire. No matter what that THING is. The perfect career, the perfect relationship, the perfect health, the perfect whatever. Here are some tips to taking steps in the right direction.

1) The most important thing that you must sort out is what is your vision, your dream, your desire... Similar to the story about the lumberjack who took time to sharpen his axe versus the one who just keep chopping and chopping. The person who takes time to think, plan and take the steps laid out in the strategy has a significant higher percentage chance of succeeding than the one who goes on faith, hope and no strategy or direction. Take the time to establish what it is you are wanting. Desire your perfect scenario in your mind. You then must put thought to paper or processor. Something that you can refer back to, amend, rewrite or just remind yourself of.

2) In your plan, be sure to set measurable goals, not only outcomes but timelines also. You must lay out a schedule of what and when you will do and complete things. Important thing to remember is to not beat yourself up if you do not attain the schedule. Just reschedule it and keep going. The key here is that you have a plan that you can follow and that you can refer to if you ever find you are unsure of what your next step should be. You should break down your goals into weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly. You can even go further than that if you like, do a 3, 5 and 10 year plan also. If you choose to expand you plan to this level (which I recommend), start with the further period out and work backwards. For example, your 10 year plan will help you establish what your 5 year should look like to accomplish the 10 year. Envision the end result of whatever timeline you create and work backwards on the steps needed to accomplish this. Then use this to create your daily plan, look at your weekly goal that you have established from longer term goals and establish what each day looks like.

3) And Finally, GO GO GO. take the steps you have planned, do the tasks, move move move. As mentioned, even if you don't achieve what you laid out for yourself, DO NOT STOP!!! Chances are you are that much closer to your goal, plus you have a plan and vision of what you are working towards anyways. Do not get stuck in negativity or self-defeating thoughts or actions, stay focused. The main thing that most successful people have in common, is their energy, they don't stop. Even if something happens, some hiccup or detour in the plan, they keep get up, get ready and GO!
I hope this helps. It really is this simple, but it takes commitment, planning and an ability to revisit your goals and dreams, to remind you of why you must get through the bad days, the challenges, the refusals.
Good luck and, as always, I wish you Great Health & Great Wealth.
