The Tendency To Get Too Busy To Live Your Life...
Hi There, Ladies and Gents!
I haven't written to you all in a while, so apologies for that!
The truth is I'm still here. Things are ticking over, in a manner of speaking! So what have I been up to and why have I been so quiet?
Well, I moved house a couple of months ago. There's much tiredness and stress that goes along with that process, as we all know.
The baby started Nursery - Yay more free time - not as yet! We need to settle into the routine first, which would have been a whole lot easier, if he did not have a cold, then an ear infection a week later... I think you get the picture.
In all the going's on, the habit of sticking my head in the computer, as it were, and researching, posting etc has just up and vanished.
I guess the habit was tied largely to my previous residence and I have not re-established it here. That is changing from tonight. This house is even more conducive to getting work done, so I will re-establish my love for spilling my inner thoughts to you all.
The other factor is that I guess I got too busy with my life to live my life, in terms of my blogging etc. I have been out and about more and the love life has taken a turn in a positive direction - for a change!! Lol. For that I am truly grateful.
After the move and the emotional ups and downs, it's time to re-evaluate, re-focus and make sure that I do certain things that I enjoy, that will help me to progress as a person and in life.
The moral of the story: Never get so busy with life, that you stop living it the way you desire.
Well, it feels good to be back.
Wishing you all peace and love,
Shaleza xx

There have been many changes in my life over the last few months. Some very sudden and others quite long and drawn out.
In the last week, a decision was finally reached to conclude a personal connection, which I know will be of benefit to my life.
I felt this outcome would come to pass for the longest while, but I thought that when it happened I would be emotionally distraught, even devastated. That turned out not to be the case.
I'm happy to realise that I have made great progress in terms of my awareness of thought and my ability to not let negative thoughts and negative emotions cause me to react.
I had a range of thoughts and emotions for a short time, which I accepted and I was able to minimise my hurt, disappointment and sadness. I am happily ready to move on.
Everything happens for a reason. As a wise and special person once said 'A gem cannot be polished without friction nor man perfected without trials'.
I have come through this trial a better, more aware person. I am ready to move forward to live a happier, more balanced and stable life.
There are many goals to achieve, much love to share, enjoying each glorious moment, knowing the future brings with it a great life for us all.
Wishing you all peace and love always,
Shaleza xx

The Mind Is Dumb to the Future: Part 2
Show a Little Disrespect
Re-interpret your experience. Re-name Fear and Panic as Opportunity for Growth. Fear and Panic are physical. Think of your physical self at the moment you become fearful and start to panic. Fear and panic make you hunch over and cower in their presence. Try this: Sit or stand straight, pull back your shoulders, raise your chin and be your full physical self. This opens your chest and lets the Fear and Panic out. Just tell it to go away so Opportunity for Growth can enter. It can be as simple as opening a door. As simple or as difficult, it is up to you.
Fear and Panic=Opportunity. The feeling of fear and panic is itself an opportunity. An opportunity to take charge and back-talk your brain. Remember your brain is only aware of the past. Only you can see the possibilities of the future.
Re-interpret Tension as The Urge Toward Progress. Tension=Progress. Fear, panic and tension are your guideposts to opportunity and progress if you let them be, if you tell them to be, if you re-interpret them to be.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
Sometimes even a single step is enough. Call tension, the gnawing in your stomach, the flush of heat you might feel, An Urge Toward Progress. Go toward it not away from it. When you fear that Opportunity physically stand and take a step forward. You will feel the tension begin to turn into something else, into progress. Re-interpret Tension as The Urge Toward Progress.
Fear and Panic=Opportunity. The feeling of fear and panic is itself an opportunity. An opportunity to take charge and back-talk your brain. Remember your brain is only aware of the past. Only you can see the possibilities of the future.
Tension=Progress. Fear, panic and tension are your guideposts to opportunity and progress if you let them be, if you tell them to be, if you re-interpret them to be.
Back-Talk. So instead of Fear and Panic you have Opportunity for Growth and instead of Tension you have An Urge Toward Progress. Now the brain will talk to you in this new language-if you tell it to. It's your brain, take charge of it. Talk back when you don't agree, and, you shouldn't agree when it is misleading you, which is more often than not. Show a little disrespect when it's telling you, no, when it should be telling you, yes.
