We all have our ups and downs, our good days and our not so good days. This seems to be the 'normal' run of human life, except for those of us that have learnt to see the happy side of life and appreciate each moment. This is something we should all aspire to.
Unfortunately, most of us have not yet reached that level of sustained brightness and positivity. We are all different and have attained differing levels of daily happiness and/or contentment.
Most of us still have at least the odd down day, when life seems to be a struggle. Our minds are in a muddle and we don't know which way to turn.
On these days, every day, but especially these days, the best thing to do is to keep going. Put one foot in front of the other. Get your tasks done and bear in mind that things will get better. There is always light at the end of the tunnel, however distant.
Remember all the good things in your life, family and friends especially. Everything that makes you feel grateful. That will get you through the day, so that you may start the next day afresh and it will be a brighter one.
As Eckhart Tolle teaches, learning to be present in the moment, aware of the now and not living in the past or the future, gives new meaning and purpose to our daily lives;a greater appreciation.
